The route to the sites is picturesque and the dirt roads are fairly well maintained. Boka Grandi ("Big Bay") is an easy site, with a large stretch of coral rubble and a white sandy beach. Playa Mansaliña, received its name from large stately mansaliña (manchineel) trees. Playa Largu ("Long Beach") is a long, rocky stretch of beach in the southeast of San Juan. Snorkeling is great here and lots of reef fish can be seen around the coral heads close to the shore. Watch out for fire coral.
