The first of the main parades in Curaçao's Carnival is the Children's Parade, in which the youngest revelers walk and dance along the Carnival route. Just like their older counterparts, they wear full, elaborate costumes – but with a much higher “cute factor”!
Curaçao's Carnival is one of the largest and longest-lasting Carnival spectacles in the Caribbean, and one of the best times to visit the island to experience the passion of our people. This grand tradition features fantastic parades, floats, costumes and characters, plus beauty contest to elect Carnival royalty.
