TUMBA FESTIVAL 2025

The Tumba Festival is one of the biggest musical events in Curaçao and a highlight of the Curaçao Carnival! During the Tumba Festival, numerous artists compete to win the coveted title of Tumba King/Queen and make their Tumba (song) the official anthem of this year's Carnival. The qualifying rounds (Monday - Wednesday) serve to select the finalists who will then compete in Friday's final round.

Curaçao's Carnival is one of the largest and longest-lasting Carnival spectacles in the Caribbean, and one of the best times to visit the island to experience the passion of our people. This grand tradition features fantastic parades, floats, costumes and characters, plus beauty contest to elect Carnival royalty.
