Do I need a visa to visit Curaçao?
Generally, tourists holding a valid passport may enter Curaçao without a written permit and remain with us for a period of maximum 30 consecutive days, with a maximum of 90 days in a 180-day period. Dutch and US nationalities are allowed to stay 180 consecutive days in any 365-day period.
However, several nationalities (e.g. Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela) must present a tourist visa as part of our entry requirements. A visa should be applied for at least one month in advance at any representation of the Netherlands (in the concerning country). US visitors require a passport to get back into the USA.
There are some exceptions where people who would need a visa based on just their nationality, but can be exempt if they have – for example – a multiple-entry short stay visa for a Schengen country, or a residence permit from the US or Canada.
