Is there any dangerous wildlife I should try to avoid?

Curaçao doesn't have any predators that are dangerous to humans. We have some harmless snakes, a few types of scorpions with a sting less severe than a bee sting, and several wild pigs which will only hurt you if you were to corner them. The most dangerous indigenous animal is a centipede that usually doesn't get much bigger than a few inches; its sting is painful but not lethal.
